My name is Aki, and I am one of the songwriters behind A.M.L.M. Go Girls!
With a little help from our families (okay, sometimes a LOT of help!), we write our own songs, come up with creative ideas and use digital music production tools to bring everything together.
But were not just about making music. There's a little more to our story!
💕 Girls Have a Voice Too!
Let's face it, being a girl these days isn't always easy.
There's pressure to fit in, expectations about how we should look or behave, friendship dramas, social media, bullying and sometimes just trying to figure out who we really are!
And seriously, why should we have to change ourselves just to make everyone else happy?
Our songs are about the challenges girls face, but also about friendship, confidence, courage and standing up for ourselves and each other.
We want other girls to know that their voices matter, that it's okay to be different, and that nobody should make them feel bad about being themselves.
🎭 A Little About Me
I've been involved in junior musical theatre for a while now, and I've been lucky enough to perform in stage productions including:
- The Lion King Jr.
- Fiddler on the Roof Jr.
- Oliver Jr.
- Godspell Jr.
- Annie Jr.
- And many more.....
Performing on stage has been an amazing experience!
I absolutely love singing, dancing and being in front of an audience. There's something really special about the lights, the music and everyone working together to put on a great show.
And with the support of my family, I've grown so much more confident.
Of course, I still get nervous sometimes, but that's all part of the fun!

Yes, I help write our lyrics with my Dad.
And yes, I correct him.
A LOT! 😂
Actually, Mum corrects him too.
And sometimes everyone else joins in!
Poor Dad... he really doesn't stand a chance!
But seriously, Dad does a lot of the music production, composition, digital graphics and technical stuff, and I'm really thankful for everything he does to help us bring our ideas to life.
At the moment, we use digital production software and AI-assisted tools to help create our music and illustrated artwork.
We come up with our song ideas, help develop the lyrics and make creative decisions about how we want our music to sound.
The images you see of the girls are digitally generated illustrations, not actual images of us, which is OK it helps with privacy and stuff.
We're learning as we go, experimenting with different musical styles and having heaps of fun along the way!

As A.M.L.M. Go Girls grows, we'd absolutely LOVE to get into a real recording studio, record our own vocals and take our music to the next level.
